The ripe fruit

Just as a fruit’s natural tendency is to ripen & during the ripening process the outer skin becomes thinner and thinner and the inner shell becomes bigger and bigger ......... in the same way humans natural tendency in its lifetime is to make the inner self bigger than the outer self so what you see on the outside of the body and that identification of the body should go as you go on in life and the inner self-realisation should become prominent; this is the natural state of being. If one does not grow that realisation and dies, you can call it as a spoiled fruit.

Fruits that never ripen go bad and are not edible or useful.
