See the lightbulbs every morning

Updated: Jun 16, 2019

I’ve found it to be a good practice to consciously remind myself every morning about the concept of who am I.

The analogy I use of the lightbulb, everything in the world is a kind of a lightbulb, a vessel for which the divine light shines through. Every bulb throws a different kind of light and with different intensity, however they are all same in the sense that they are all empty vessels.

The problem begins when the vessel starts feeling proud of the light coming through it and starts comparing itself to other vessels.

Our only job as a vessel is to make sure we keep ourselves clean of this thought/dirt so more and more of the light can go through.
